These are two uillean pipers who prop up on some of my favorite CDs. I was wondering if anyone had a little more info on them, such as how are they regarded and are there recordings worth getting.

Thanks (from a lowly whistler)

I don't know much about Eamonn as I have never seen him perform, but Gay is truly one of the very best. He's highly regarded as a performer and a teacher, and most pipers I know have his solo CD. Like many of the best pipers today, he learned his piping from Leo Rowsome.

Gay team-teaches on the Na Piobairi Uilleann piping videos with Nollaig McCarthaigh, another excellent piper.
