I'm proud and excited to announce, with the guidance of some very wonderful people, that I've ordered myself a chanter from Robbie Hughes. Bellows and bag to be made by Joe Kennedy in Ontario Canada (he makes wonderful stuff!) and hopefully to come sometime in the spring.
I actually got to play a set today and held some nice steady notes (I'm soo proud of myself -can ya tell?) and made some nice sounds. I'm "pumped"!
I can't express enough how grateful I am to this forum with its enormous amount of superb information, and terrific advice. So I guess I'll just sit tight and dream my little uilleann dreams.
