It says in the latest American pipers' club review that to attend the tionol in 2002, a $35 fee will be charged. This is a new wrinkle, and not a welcome development. I like wrinkles about as much as pulled muscles or uriac acid buildup.

So, will they be charging admission at the party? Do you get your hand stamped? How about a tattoo, that's au courant. If you show up during the last 5 minutes of the recital on Sunday is it full price? Will there be bouncers? Will Wally bash you in the guts with a pool cue for trying to sneak in? How much per beer is $35? Does every attendee get a Rogge staple or a T Shirt or a bitchin' poster, or?

Fully agree with you there, in fact I think people should be paid for spending time in the same room as a load of pipers! It's torture.
