I was browsing the CDs in NPU's shop recently & was surprised to see Sean McKiernan had released a recording. Searching the web for more info, I only found mention of it on a past radio program from Peadar O'Riada. On the cover is "a mhuintir / a chuid chairde" & the CD features tracks from various sources & places. There's two songs by a Barbara McKiernan, several duets with Peter O'Loughlin, a few more songs by various people, a home recording of conversation, a poem, a couple piano pieces (one from "Skryabin"), two piping tracks from what I assume is a pupil, & several "cynlinder recordings c. 1904" - one by a "Denis P. Murphy" & two by a curiously named "Mick Ear Nin"...
The sleeve notes only contain the lyrics to two songs in English. I was wondering if others had heard of this release & could provide a bit more information on it.

Re: Sean McKiernan CD
Looks like a release to benefit charities. Mick Ear Nin is probably the phonetic translation of McKiernan .
I know nothing else about it.
