Just listened to a jig played by Peter Flynn.

"This is my grandfather's maternal uncle. He was born about 1890 and died in 1982. Peter did have a large collection of pipes and other instruments and, according to my grandmother, was very protective of his collection. He was a fierce republican, a fluent Irish speaker and drove a Morris Minor. This is the first time I ever heard him play. I am a piper too although in the other tradition of the Great Highland Pipes.

Does anyone know more about Peter Flynn? What happened to his collection of instruments? Were they sold off or given to a museum?
