I would like to know who made them.

Have you, or anyone you know and trust heard this set playing? The reason I ask is because, despite the artful positioning of the chanter, I still see an overly large drone shut-off switch. This is generally a ´mark of the Beast´. I suspect the drones are of Pakistani origin. I would want to hear them. . . in person if possible. I cannot clearly make out the shapes of the keys on the chanter, so cannot say. . .but again, I would want to hear the chanter played. . .again preferably in person.

I would agree with the above poster, they are by Charles Roberts.
The same as my set except mine have brass ferrules instead of nickel.

Unfortunately that might be the only design feature on the Pakistani sets that is successful.

Did Charles Roberts ever upgrade Pakistan pipes.

The chanter stock and mainstock parts look like Pakistan type with the big drone switch.

But the chanter and 3 drone look like Charles Roberts set added to the Pakistan drone mainstock.

The black fibre glass case is made by Savage and Hoy England and Charles Roberts used this case company.

Cheers

I bought the set, builder (indeed Roberts) recognized by several forum members (thanks!) and confirmed by Evertjan 't Hart.
Now my practice set is for sale, Banba Design cocobolo concert pitch chanter (& two reeds), bag and bellows in matching colours (brown and brass) by Arie de Keyser. Both barely used.
800 euro's.
