I don't know why I didn't pick up on this thread before. I had the pleasure of sitting next to Colm for about three hours in a session at the Ennis Tradfest in November. It wasn't too busy a session, so we had a lovely long chat as well as me being able to enjoy the wonderful music Colm was producing on these pipes. He's a lovely young fella - quiet, unassuming, and that struck me as being his playing style as well (though, of course, it may be different in a different context or on a different occasion). He came across as a very thoughtful player, very deliberately giving each note the precise sound he wanted to give it.

We did talk about the pipes a bit, and he was obviously delighted to have them.

One bit of chamois looks much like another - I guess it could be the same one, if LO'F left it in the case.
