Tommy Kearney's Rowsome set?

Post by Steampacket »

Is Tommy Kearney's Rowsome set being played? Does Tommy have relatives that play the pipes, or was the set sold?

His daughter offered it for sale at some point. I assume it sold.

Good photo. Wondered as I've seen a video clip recently of someone playing a Rowsome set and the chanter top resembled the one in the photo. I'll try and find the video clip

Tommy gave me some lessons on my new beginner set back in 1977. I met him again in his home in Dunmoreast in 1979. He was a great teacher !
