Willie Clancy's Taylor set?

Post by Steampacket »

Has anyone seen Willie Clancy's Taylor set? JOBM writes that Willie used the set from 1962 until 1969, and that a family member is in possession. I wonder is it complete and in playing condition? Have you seen the set Geoff or Mr.Gumby?

As far as I know it is not playing. They had it out to make a cast of it for the statue a few year ago.

Thanks Mr. Gumby. JOBM wrote that the Taylor set was given to Willie by Tom Looney. Was Looney a piper? Was he the owner of Looney's where Johnny Doran would camp?
