I'm trying to reed a Boisvert C chanter. Does anyone have reed dimensions which they could share?

His email on the webpage.
Also on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/david.a.boisvert.

What is the overall length of Boisvert C chanter without chanter top.

What type of chanter copy of old makers e.g. Coyne
or David's own chanter design.

Cheers

Ferg

The chanter is a hair under 16.5".

I've reached out to DB on both email and FB. In the past he has taken time to respond (circumstances beyond his control).

Hi PJ

I sent FB message to DB about your question no reply but seen my message.

What reed measurements are you using.

My Andreas Rogge C chanter is around 16.5 inches the same length as the Boisvert C chanter you have.

Do you want the Rogge C reed dimensions. Still playing the original Rogge reed from December 2008 when I got the C chanter.

Cheers

Ferg

That would be great. I've been tinkering with a few different measurements (Gallagher, Quinn, mostly) but no joy.
