I have a Website, Lives of the Pipers, with short biographies of selected uilleann pipers active in North America 1850-1950. I thought to start this thread to announce when I add biographies. I'll be doing so every once in a while. Newly added: Shaun O'Nolan (1873-1945) Boston and New York City, entertainer and songwriter James J. Great project Nick, I would love to see you include Tom Standeven. He was squeezing away at a time when the pipes were in decline in Ireland, knew so many of the great players and he influenced an awful llot of people with his music, including me. Robert Mouland www.wireharp.com |
