The Instrument Makers -BBC Radiio 4.

Post by Pipewort »

A heads up.

I listened and enjoyed a program in this series this morning about the Welsh Harp.

This is to inform you that next weeks program at 11.30 British Summer Time, is More Power to Your Elbow - The Uilleann Pipes.

David Lim (prominent member of the UK Manchester Pipers and pipe maker) is featured. Easily listened to off the web I guess.

not sure about folk outside of the UK being able to access it as you have to log on to prove you are a license holder

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

There is no problem listening to BBC radio, either live or on the iPlayer overseas. It is only to TV that you need to log in. I look forward to listening to this and catching up on last weeks programme on the harp. The earlier ones of guitar and accordion were very good.

Those not familiar with the BBC's radio output might like to explore the variety of traditional music programmes available from its national and local stations.
