Saint Louis Tionol - April 20-22
Great lineup of Pipers, Tom Creegan, Michael Stribling, Kieran O'Hare, and more. Tom Klein will be doing a talk and demo on his unusual tune settings and regulator/drone combinations as well. Tommy Martin is doing reeds. Check out the website at http://www.tionol.org for all the details and registration info.

Yes,
I'll be running the reed making class with a focus on using spruce instead of cane.

I'll be running the reed making class this year.
Because it's one day this year I'll be focusing on using spruce for reed heads. If you are thinking of attending I'll ask you to bring your favorite staple.
I'll have a few extra with me but I can't guarantee that they'll suit your chanter.
I usually use 5mm tubes from K&S but I have a few rolled ones for D and lower pitched chanters.
If you have a specific diameter sanding cylinder, either let me know or bring one with you.
Again, it'll just be a focus on spruce reeds. I'll have plenty of spruce and sheet copper and wire for bridles.
Just bring yourself!
If you have any questions email me at tommmymartin@gmail.com
We'll have plenty of tea and coffee too!
