Hello!
We are running a weekend at the end of March. Aimed at all abilities - the focus of the weekend will be bringing folk together to get the best out of their uilleann pipes at a pace and level that works for them. There will be opportunities for 1:1 tuition, learning together, playing together, getting pipes going, sorting reeds..........a very flexible and relaxed mix of activity. Above all - a friendly & relaxed setting to facilitate folk mixing together to share their enthusiasm for uilleann piping. If you play other instruments, bring them too as there will be plenty of tunes with some local musicians joining in for the craic.

With 3 pipe-makers (Dinny, Paddy & Ian) in situ you'll be sure to get any maintenance or reed issues you might have sorted out. With Jarlath in attendance, as well as sharing his amazing piping skills and teaching piping at the weekend to all levels and abilities it'll be handy having a resident doctor available!!

Glenesk is a beautiful place with stunning scenery of impressive mountains (Mount Keen is the most easterly Munro), and the majestic North Esk - one of the most prolific salmon rivers in the northern hemisphere. Fishing permits are available from The Burn.

Get in touch for more info - places available for non-pipers as well!
