Hi,
Due to my age , I have forgotten where i found a tune on a downloadable manuscript of an Irish collection.
I was hoping one of you could point me in the right direction.
The tune is The Rose In The Gap, The Ms was a transcription of an historical collection.
Many thanks for any help received
Dave

Don't know how much it gets you along the path, but on thesession.org, it is said to be in the Donnellan Collection of Oriel Songs and Dances.

Makes sense, it's one of the Oriel tunes recorded by La Lugh (CD : Senex Puer).the Donnellan Collection of Oriel Songs and Dances
Some background on the Luke Donnellan collection

Perhaps you are thinking of one of the collections (like the Goodman) at www.itma.ie.
