Things have changed so much over the last few years with the availability of pipes, its not that long ago the buyers would be killing each other to get hold of such a fine chanter.

True enough though, when I was first starting, a fairly scruffy Peter Hunter one key metal top chanter went on ebay for £826 plus P&P, it basically didn't work - no hard D - and I had to fix it for the buyer.

Times change.

I had to google the word scunner, never heard of it before , has a nice derogatory almost guttural sound to it.But anyway I've never taken a scunner to anybody. I was just surprised that such a nice chanter hasn't sold.

Yeah, I would have to agree. The availability of pipes today has changed drastically compared to when I was even younger! Unfortunately this makes it harder to sell, but I'm sure this is the right chanter for someone as it has a beautiful sound to it.
