- Tell us something.: I'm a fiddler and, latterly, a fluter. I love the flute. I wish I'd always played it. I love the whistle as well. I'm blessed in having really lovely instruments for all of my musical interests.

There's a bunch of the usual suspects who show up for an all day Irish session. I was in the area for Bath Fringe festival so it was handy.

There was a good piping contingent in the end, tony hebden playing a set he made and a piper called Andy whose surname I don't know playing a Kevin Thompson chanter with drones and regs by Ginsberg. The Thompson chanter was particularly nice, bright and in tune. The hebden set sounded good too.
