FS: Joe Kennedy bellows

Post by Hornpiper »

I got these bellows made new from Joe a little over 4 years ago, with my (wonderful) B set that he also made which is older. They're very 'authentic' in their look - very much old, 'flat-pitch' styled, smaller-sized, and with a metal hinge instead of leather. Like what you might see with a new Coyne or Harrington set. I had Michael Hubbert make a nice new hose for them which measures around 10", and also have a simpler homemade hose that could be more easily adjusted. I'd say these are more suited to a flat set but I've used them with my D set too and they work fine. There's also no leather padding or anything on them but I've had no problem playing them even with bare arms, though a pillow or cloth or other some such also easily be used. I'm selling as I have a new bellows that I prefer. I'm asking $400 for them...PM or email for pix.
