Usually some member of the weasel family... :P

Don't worry, there are other less-than-desirable animals still left: the stoat to play the banjo, and the buzzard to play the guitar.

But a rat playing a bodhran ... I don't know which disgusts me more, the rat or the bodhran!

Well,I think it's charming. Ganesh should totally play the pipes.
And now there was no doubt that the trees were really moving - moving in and out through one another as if in a complicated country dance. ('And I suppose,' thought Lucy, 'when trees dance, it must be a very, very country dance indeed.')

[Thread steal]:
What animals would you have playing different species of accordion:
Concertina:
Single or double row button box/melodeon:
Piano accordion tuned wet (keep it clean, this is a family forum) :D :

That Rat cant be all bad apparently it has a pint of Guinness in the other hand or by its side.

And the piper has no trouble remembering tunes. Half its luck (some sort of cultural thing)

i actually thought this was a statue that really existed

one advantage this Ganesh lad would have is an inability to forget a tune

It is a mouse/rat, by the way:

The first time someone posted a picture of that magnificent statue on this forum, it inspired me to render it in paint in iconographic style. I'll post it, if I can figure out how to do it...
