I've never heard of the Peter O'Loughlin tape.
I thought that was standard distribution to aspiring pipers. If it isn't, it should be.

Peter O'Loughlin recorded Tommy Reck at home during the early-ish sixties. It's a piping classic. I believe JOBM cited it on one of his recordings as Seán Reid distributing copies (the recording was sometimes associated with Reid for that reason). There are often a few tracks recorded from Reck's radio appearances at the time included with copies of it.

Tell us something.: From Belfast, I have been learning the pipes with Tom Clarke for about 6 months. I have been told that this site is a great resource for discussions relating to piping and traditional music in general.

This thread has brought a few good new things to light recently.

To add to that, here are a few snaps that came up for scanning today. Tommy teaching a workshop and one of him in conversation with Mr Wooff.
