These pipes were for sale in my town. I contacted the seller to see if I could check them out, and the seller indicated that a local sale was in the works. This is all a bit surprising to me. I am not aware of any other uilleann pipers within at least one hundred miles, and I am certainly not aware of anyone making pipes around here. I am not saying it isnt' happening, just can't say that I have ever seen anyone playing pipes out here (we have quite a big festival in the fall that is timed so that we catch the bigger/well known groups/players on their way to Milwaukee). I have never seen a local piper there and no one has ever approached me about playing when I play out. I contacted the seller again to see if he was interested in discussing pipe-making, as I am interested in learning. I haven't heard anything further. So the mystery set is a real mystery to me.

Re: 3/4 Set

The 3/4 set on Ebay at the moment is one of Chris Bayley's sets. It would appear to have the E Regulator key as well as the standard ones. Plus the Stop Key and Popping Valve.

A nice set.

O'Grady keyed chanter in D The chanter has 4 keys and 2 reeds. Europe only sale

Pat Stones C chanter with single key this is a strange listing - the seller is in Denmark, but the sale is restricted to the US :-?

Good one JES

The seller will be lucky to get any bids at the new starting price - £2500 is a bit steep for a set in unknown condition IMO.

I am selling this chanter. It is first time I sell on ebay, so i am not familiar with the way it goes.
It was about the shippingcost and how to ship.

Full set in B I suspect that this is the set from the locked thread now offered for sale on ebay. The seller says local pick up only - in Sheffield.

Uilleann chanter seller has suspicions that it is Pakistani.

The set has sold for £2550 - to a board member?
