Mystery Chanter

Post by SEAGULL »

I am helping a student get a reed in a chanter and I am not sure who made it. Someone gave it to him and he doesn't know. It only has an engraving on the bellows. Does this look familiar to anyone? Thanks for the help.

The address is that for Billy Roleston (RIP) / Regal Catering Equipment (now defunct). In addition to catering equipment he "made/marketed" Brian Boru Chanters, mostly the Irish system but a few were Scottish system sometimes stamped "Clan" - from ones I have seen they originate from the Sialkot fraternity

Need to see some photos of the chanter bag and bellows to see if this is from the same origins
