Auto Sign In ??

G'day all,
Is there something wrong with the 'sign me in each time I visit' function ??...
It does'nt seem to work for me.Every time I log in,I see the 'sign me in' box...I tick it and say 'yes please,if its not too much trouble' but when I come back the next day,I have to log in again.......whats wrong ???

Someone emailed me about this today and I suggested it might be a problem with the way their browser was set to handle cookies. They emailed back to say they changed their cookie settings and that took care of it.

I'm showing my lack of computer knowledege here....when you say 'which browser',do you mean programme ??...
I'm using Windows XP and use Internet Explorer to access web sites..
I did the Tools/Options/Privacy thing but could'nt find cookies....
Nice and cool in Australia today...the heat wave is over...good....

ah, IE
after an exhausting search through IE's: Tools/Internet options
in the Privacy tab
Advanced
you have cookies

The default is automatic/unchecked (I guess 'cause that's what mine is set to and nobody uses IE here)
that seems to work fine
I had to log in (I checked the remember me box)
I was auto logged in next time
