Hi,
hope you can help. I got an email message the other day to say I had a PM (don't get many of these!) but when I went to check it, there was nothing there.
Any ideas?

Maybe the sender changed his/her mind.
When a PM is sent, it goes into the sender's outbox, and that's what triggers the e-mail notification to you.
Until you pick it up, the PM remains in the sender's outbox - where, meanwhile, they can cancel it by deleting it. So when you go to check, there's nothing there.
Could be what happened!
