Long URLs (solution included)

Post by Kevin L. Rietmann »

This has annoyed me for a long time, pages with mile-long URLs that make you scroll the view back and forth to read, even with the window maximized. You could get a huge monitor I suppose or resize your screen, but I didn't want to. Finally today I went about looking for

A Solution

Works great! A single button on the Bookmarks Toolbar, this is for Firefox, dunno about IE etc.

Another trick is to use the "Remove this object" feature you get when you right-click; handy for those monsterous huge image files that cause the same problem. Dunno if that's stock with Firefox or if it's part of an extension.
