Time format

Post by Walden »

I see there is a way that I can set my date format preferences, but I want to know how to set it to show the times in AM/PM, rather than military time format.

That's odd. I would have thought it was displayed in AM/PM format by default.

Anyway... check your profile and look in the 'DATE' section. For AM/PM you should have:

D M d, Y g:i a

It's the 'a' at the end that reports time in AM/PM mode. If it's set to H, it'll report in military 24hr mode.

Of course, if the main board configuration is set to override personal styles, changing it might not work. However, it seems to work for me, at least on the main Index page.

Thank you. That simplifies it a bit for me.
