Outbox?

Post by An Draighean »

I have two Private Messages that I composed and thought I sent, but they are in my "Outbox", and never show up in my "sent items" folder. How can I get these to send? I tried clicking on them, and it brings up the message, but there is no "send" option that I can see. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
Lee

Never mind - I looked for similar threads in this sub-forum, and found the answer - PM's stay in your Outbox, until they are actually read by the recipient. Should have looked first, before I posted!

Tell us something.: I do not (yet?) play the flute, but I have an old Peloubet in need of repairs. If I have it repaired I will probably play around with it. But most likely, it will be passed on to one of the next generation. The flute came to me from my mother 50 years ago and she was confident that it was in the family for several generations previous to that.

Thank you for saving me the embarrassment of asking the exact same question! :)

The advantage is, if you get cold feet, or an outbreak of l'esprit de l'escalier, you can edit your outbox messages anytime until the recipient opens the message.
And now there was no doubt that the trees were really moving - moving in and out through one another as if in a complicated country dance. ('And I suppose,' thought Lucy, 'when trees dance, it must be a very, very country dance indeed.')

Just had same question. Thanks people. I felt like an idiot. Rather odd system.

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.
