Does anyone out there have any tips for the best post processing for a straight smallpipes recording? Using Audacity 2; I have taken the meeting of the waters clips from my signature and: 1. Trimmed it slightly more. 2. Done some noise removal. 3. Added a very brief fade in at the start to cover my slightly clumsy startup. 4. Normalised it to a slightly louder level. Here is the result: Meeting of the Waters and Corn Riggs - Edited... Anything else you would do? (Apart from re-record it with a better player that is...) Chris. Sounds good to me. Here's a recording of my smallpipes: "Mairies Wedding" I just trimmed to length. |
