Yes, I already cut a square of 600 grade for the Stadtlers. And the carpenter sharpener (that's fun to say) comes with an emery board on its side.

I've been meaning ta get one o'dem carpenter sharpener things.
'course I'd have to find it when I needed it... (the pocket knife on the other hand)

I know I'm going to regret saying this for the rest of my life. But Denny, you may be a genius. The carpenter's pencil works very well indeed for music notation.

Kobalt brand from Lowe's. Package of 4 + sharpener = $5.
