YouTube video/sound out of synch
I'm a learner, and posting some of my "progress" videos for fun and a few friends. While the wmv files play in synch from the folder they're saved in, once I upload them to YouTube, the video gets a couple of seconds ahead of the sound. Anyone know what that's about?

Check with Michael Eskin about this. He looked into the sync issues in some detail when he was uploading tutorials.

Re: YouTube video/sound out of synch
I'd suggest verifying the sync issue on several other computers. Almost always these days, this is a problem on the playback side, not with the file.
That being said, I haven't tried uploading files to YouTube in .wmv format. I either upload MPEG-2 .mpg files or convert to h.264 .mp4 files. If the editor you have has either of these options, give it a try, or you can use a free video converter like "Super" to transcode the video before uploading to YouTube.
