Just in case there are any here who don't read the "cities" board:

Mark your calendars now for the fifth annual performances of "A Gaelic Christmas," featuring international recording artist Mary Mc Laughlin and her Cór Ainglí Irish-language choir. This year we'll be offering four shows, including two afternoon matinées:

MATINEE SHOWS:

Sunday, December 5, 4:00 p.m., at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 9850 Monroe Av., Aptos

Sunday, December 12, 4:00 p.m., at Advent Lutheran Church, 16870 Murphy Av., Morgan Hill

EVENING SHOWS:

Friday, December 10, 7:00 p.m., at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 126 High St., Santa Cruz

Saturday, December 18, 7:00 p.m., at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, 81 North Second St., Downtown San Jose

Concerts feature original choral arrangements of Christmas song in Irish Gaelic, including both traditional Irish carols and well-known European and American carols that have been translated into Irish, performed by Mary and Cór Ainglí. Also featured are the well-known world music vocal ensemble Zambra (http://www.zambra.org/ Evening shows only), as well as Steve Coulter on harp, Owen Meehan on flute and whistle, Bruce Abraham on guitar and percussion and Shiloh Hellman on piano.

For more information, or to order tickets (advance ticket purchase highly recommended) please visit http://www.marymclaughlin.com and click on "Gaelic Choirs."
