Just to let you know that if you are in the Northwest and interested in learning Irish, Marylhurst University will be hosting it's fourth annual "Lá na Gaeilge" day of Irish workshops on Saturday, May 22nd. The program is run by Bob Burke and Ger Killeen, both fluent Irish speakers, and there is always at least one native Irish speaker among the instructors. There will be beginning and intermediate classes as well as an Irish conversation class for more advanced speakers. In addition, I will be teaching an introductory Scottish Gaelic class during the afternoon session. The day will conclude with a performance of Brian Friel's play "Translations."

Ná bí buartha! Beidh tú go maith! Labhróidh mé i nGaeilge leat nuair a bheidh mé in Eugene.

LOL Go breá! Máirtín bocht, heehee.

B'fhéidir tar éis an Lá na Gaeilge freagróidh mé tú as Gaeilge freisin!

(Mental note: learn the word for "strawberries".)
