For those who don't read Irish, here's a translation of the article (I'm going to type it in white, so those of you who do read some Irish can try reading the article itself first):
GO SAN FRANCISCO!
These two photographs were taken at the tenth Gaeltacht Weekend, which took place this year during the month of September in San Francisco. There were 56 people in attendence, including the teachers, and lovely Irish was heard in the halls, the rooms, the restaurant and the bar of the United Irish Cultural Center during those three enjoyable days. As with every year, there were people in attendance from every part of the United States (Florida, Texas, Utah, Oregon, California from Sacramento in the north to San Diego in the south)
Nikki Ragsdale, musician and designer, organizes the weekend every year, with lots of help from her Irish friends in Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann and the Irish Center in San Francisco. Helping Nikki this year was Seán Séamus Ó Lorcáin, who took good care of the teachers, John Gleeson from Milwaukee (Dublin), Brían Ó Broinn from New York (Galway) and Colette Nic Daibheid from Oideas Gael [Audrey's note: I think Liam Ó Cuinneagáin wrote the article, as he forgot to mention himself...he taught level 3!].
