Now, I'm a rank newcomer to Irish, and I've recently become all but overwhelmed by all of the talk about Gaeltacht, Galltacht, and the CO, etc.

But, pay no attention to that man behind the curtain, and never mind the otherwise mind-boggling number of details about the Irish language!

However, it seems that in the due course of learning Irish, one just happens to learn a lot about Ireland's geography, history, and language, too.
