Red, do you know of any Irish language websites that are simpler than http://www.beo.ie ? I can't quite handle that one.

Hmmm...not off the top of my head, but I'll ask around.

Beo used to have a serial for beginners called "Liam agus Bairbre," but they discontinued it a couple of years ago (not sure why, as they didn't finish the story as far as I can recall).

This wasn't *quite* what I had in mind but I have found a couple of simply written stories. They're called "Buntus Cainte: The Lost Episodes". Buntus Cainte is the name of the Irish coursebooks/CDs that Martin bought me in ireland. They're really good. I have gotten most of the way through "Sa Bhaile le Nóra agus Pádraig" and I am reasonably sure that these were NOT written by anyone involved with production of the book...
