Testing to see if views can = 0

Normally when one does this it forwards you to the thread and gives you a 1 in the views column. Just testing this out

Views = 1 (probably 2 now if I go back and check).

Soooo....whadd're ye up to, here?

Views = 6. Guess whatever you're cooking up hasn't panned out...if you'll pardon the pun.

Views = 13.

It was 0 for a bit. Obviously changed when it was viewed. I was just wondering if it counted when the view submitted page pops up or after you are actually forwarded to the thread.

No point or purpose, just curious.

That would take two people to check, but according to what I've experienced, it will count, but the viewer minding the count will see no change of number until s/he refreshes the page.

During the quick splash screen, I clicked the "Test Forum" button which effectively refreshed the test forum listings. It must have because the thread wasn't there until after I made it.
If it never refreshed, there would be no thread.
If it counted right after submit, views would = 1.
It had the thread and Views = 0.

I don't know what you mean by this.

If I understand you - I'm trying - this is logical. That's the way it works.

As a matter of fact there would be a thread, but you just wouldn't see it until you refreshed by whatever method. Others would be able in the meantime to see the thread and interact with it while you sat looking at no change at all.

It had the thread and Views = 0.
Interesting. That is not the usual, in my own experience.

The page in between clicking submit and being forwarded to the thread. Don't know if it has a technical name. The forwarding page?

I should have said no thread listed, so yes what you said. But one was listed.

Well, that is why I did it in the test area. All that and zero practical application.

looks like

Return to the forum last visited
If you start a thread & click the "Return to forum last visited", you should see zero views. Might have to hit F5...
