photo test

You can come in here and play around until you get the hang of forum posts. It's unlikely you'll be yelled at.

photo test

Post by Sigurthr »

my initial post containing these is no where to be found other than my post history... and clicking on it goes no where. I don't think it was mod deleted because it was gone from the moment I hit the submit button. Anyway these pics were in it and I want to make sure they didnt cause the problem!

edit: O_o they are HUGE! Time to resize them....

HTML is disabled, is this what you were trying to do?

Code: Select all

Doesn't seem like one can resize images in the post anymore.

I was trying to shrink the images with bbcode, but C&F has a lot of bbcode disabled so I didn't know if it would work or not (it didnt, both ways).

normally you can just enter in the size as part of the img code:

[img 800,600] image address [/img]

or

[img width=800 height=600] image address [/img]

I never know which code will work here, I was surprised a few months ago when strikethrough didn't work! [s] [/s]

Prior to recent version of phpBB I use to like playing with the HTML in the test forum, Kind of miss being able to change the image size. Guess it will be best to just leave a link to click on.

Hey wait, when did the test forum migrate south of the support forum?

Yeah, HTML is not supported since version 3 of phpBB. Too easy to create mischief.

BBCode should work everywhere. But I don't think you can resize images on the fly. The image you link to is the image that will display. I'll double check this.

Yes, if you just post an image link instead of using the img tags, that works fine.
