It's way more fun being deadpan.
And now there was no doubt that the trees were really moving - moving in and out through one another as if in a complicated country dance. ('And I suppose,' thought Lucy, 'when trees dance, it must be a very, very country dance indeed.')

What right do people have to use emoticons for their own selfish needs? Do you think that emoticon wants to appear endlessly repeating its action in your posts just because you put it there? Did you even ask the emoticon?

And the most egregious of all is Nano who is making millions, millions I tell you, as a Moderator, and not in any way compensating even one emoticon with one small portion of those millions.

Do you not think it may hurt emoticons to be poked? You are like the Ceasers of Rome forcing gladiators who are friends to fight to their death. Only you are worse because this fight is endless and one-sided.

Let the emoticons go!

The two preceding posts were by folks who have not learned from history.

Did you ask the names of those two emoticons before you placed them in bondage? Did you offer them a living wage with health and welfare benefits equal to your own? Have you made arrangements for their families while they are held captive in your post?

People will know your heartless actions in this third world forum and see that you are abusers of emoticons. If you edit your posts to remove the evidence of the slavery of emoticons you will just be acknowledging your shame with your actions. Emoticons will remain in bondage by your hands until all emoticons can live in freedom and be able to choose their own destiny.

All this bondage stuff! I do declare, I think mutepointe probably wants a good spanking. He's nicely defiant, though, so that will make it all the better to give than to receive.

You do it, Denny. Just make sure to have mutepointe thank you properly.

A 'No' uttered from the deepest conviction is better than a 'Yes' merely uttered to please, or worse, to avoid trouble.

Hey Nano, you sound a bit cowardly when you say, "You do it, Denny."
