my picture test

You can come in here and play around until you get the hang of forum posts. It's unlikely you'll be yelled at.

my picture test

Let's see if I can do anything from Webshots: Image - it's weird that they don't show .jpg or .bmp, but we shall see. . . .

Ok, option 2 is "post to blog or website" at [img]<a%20href="http://outdoors.webshots.com/photo/2723 ... Jenny"></a>[/img]

Hmmm - maybe with Webshots "post to blog" option I don't need the C&F img thing - let's see <a href="http://outdoors.webshots.com/photo/2723 ... fKgw"><img src="http://thumb0.webshots.net/t/34/35/4/67 ... Kgw_th.jpg" alt="Oregon 2007 sea lion caves Char Jenny"></a>

Memo to me: Webshots > find picture and click on it > click on the box on the right where it says "link to it" > choose the "post to blog" option and copy that > don't use the img tag here on the C&F site.

OR
the "post in a forum" option

they will both produce a thumbnail that will link to a full size picture on their site.

what they will not let you do is show the full size picture without clicking to go to their site. Actually you have to click the magnifying glass, under the picture that they do show, for that

If that makes any sense at all to you please let me know and I'll try to rewrite it to be more obscure!

It makes marketing sense - they want you to go to their site so you will order things from them!
