Hmmm.. How Do I...?

Post by Steamwalker »

How do I post a picture as a thumbnail or image of reduced size that's also a link to the full sized image? Do I need two images of each size or can one stipulate the size parameters to reduce the pic that will serve as the clicky?

Can you post what you found? I'm sure there's folks that would be interested
in that. I would have initially said to reduce the pic size and save that as the
thumbnail. But I know there's a way, using html code, to set the size of a pic.

There's a way to do it in HTML by using the WIDTH and HEIGHT modifiers but they don't seem to work here on the boards. With that said, one has to have to different URLs, one for the thumbnail and another for the image or page one is linking to. ie:

LINK URL]

Not all of it, but some of it is. It seems to be hit and miss.
There is also a "Disable HTML in this post" below where you type posts, make sure your default is "off" if you plan on using HTML often.
