youtube test. can i imbed objects?

You can come in here and play around until you get the hang of forum posts. It's unlikely you'll be yelled at.

Does the "Login to post this video to your blog." help with this?

Under the image there is a "Post Video" link. I don't have a login ID, otherwise I would check myself.

Searched google under “posting youtube video BBCode” and “embed youtube video” and was not able to fine much information but it may a limitation to the board.

Trying to get the video link to appear directly in my post. No clickies or url hyperlink showing but the youtube frame. I keep winding up with this . . .

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Bg5JKFf5DLg"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Bg5JKFf5DLg" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

. . .which leads me to believe that this option is turned off throughout the C&F forums.

ya might want to consider that the HTML support in the BB code only handles the simpler codes...and nothing that uses multiple "<>"

I don’t know if that would be a huge problem.

If you look at this page when done properly it is defaulted so that it only plays when clicked, and would not be a bandwidth sucking behemoth.
