You need to find a way of sharing the image. By the way, is that just an image of the word "Search"?

Your first post would work as a link, not an image directly displayed within a forum message:

Code: Select all

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1xeK6oHx8_AYWR0S8hLyTFyZSj2B9C5FR
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1xeK6o ... ZSj2B9C5FR

Same for the 2nd example:

Code: Select all

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xeK6oHx8_AYWR0S8hLyTFyZSj2B9C5FR/view
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xeK6oH ... 9C5FR/view

Now I just have to figure out how I got to here:

Code: Select all

Image

Ah, got it!
1) Use your first link that you posted in your first message:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xeK6oH ... 9C5FR/view
That displays the image from Google Drive onscreen.
2) In Firefox, then use Firefox's Menu item "Tools->Page Info" (or just press the shortcut keys Ctrl-I).
3) In the Page Info dialog, on the "General" tab, select the line for og:image (or go to the Page Info "Media" tab & select your image there & same as step 4).
4) Right-click & select from the context menu "Copy".
5) Paste that in to your C&F message (surrounded by the tags

Code: Select all

. Alternatively, click on the C&F message editor button "Img", which provides the surrounding tags, then paste your image address in between them at the cursor position

I was sharing the image through the Google Drive shared link. But it does not work directly for some reason.
Yes, it is just a simple cut screen capture of the Google Search.

Your trick works. Thank you very much.
Finally I will be able to display images from my Google Drive on this forum!

However, it is a very big image (for such a small screen snip). How can I reduce its size?

With the -p at the end:

Code: Select all

Image

Without the -p at the end:

Code: Select all

Interesting. My browsers (Firefox & Chrome) now no longer show the image anymore. Either you have deleted it, or Google has some sort of time limit on the direct link.

I know the answer. Unfortunately, this evening, I am inarticulate. I shall try in the morning.
