Just trying to make a random post

You can come in here and play around until you get the hang of forum posts. It's unlikely you'll be yelled at.

Tell us something.: Hi, I am Jeannette or Anj for short, I have always been frustrated about learning to play instruments. I love to sing and dance but I guess playing an instrument is really not my game but still, I haven't closed my doors to opportunities that may come, maybe next time I will learn the guitar or the keyboard.

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

Nope, no can do. That is not an image link, but a URL to the Unsplash site which will display, and allow you to download the image to your local computer's drive. AFAIK, there is no way to display it in-line in a message. You'd have to either provide a clickable link (as below) to the image's page on that site, or download it yourself & post it to an image-hosting site, such as IMGUR. Generally, a viewable image to post on the boards would likely have the extension .jpg, .gif, or .png .

Here's how I did that:
