WTB: 2001-era Burke

Post by Thomaston »

Years ago I had a wide bore aluminum Burke in D that I foolishly sold off (I think the guy I sold it to lived in France at the time). It’s the one instrument I wish I’d never gotten rid of, so I’m looking to see if anyone here has one they’d be willing to part with.
This would pre-date his current narrow bore/session bore naming system. I’ve tried his latter-era whistles and he’s changed the design into what I feel is inferior to the older design.
I’m prepared to buy it outright, do a trade (I have Milligan’s quiet head and session head whistles in D that I can offer as a trade, one with a cocobolo body and the other with a delrin body, but the heads are interchangeable), or even a partial trade.
Message me if you have one you’d be willing to discuss selling or trading.
Thanks!
