Olwell Keyless --THE FLUTE HAS BEEN SOLD.- Thanks to all ...

Post by Julia Delaney »

THE FLUTE HAS BEEN SOLD I am selling a recently made Patrick Olwell keyless flute, Nicholson model, in D. No slide. Three pieces. Three sterling silver rings. Perfect condition and plays beautifully. Great volume from it. Since I play my 6-keyed Olwell Pratten I just don't need this flute No case. I will cover the cost of shipping in the USA. If you don't like it, send it back to me and I will refund your money less the total cost of shipping.

Kingwood: is very stable, and may have a slightly more “woody” sound quality than Blackwood. Most often used on keyless flutes with an all-wood head-joint. The color varies from medium purplish-red with visible grain, to dark brown-red. It looks very much like cocus and probably plays like a flute made from cocus. But it is always more about the player than about the wood.

I will post pics at some point, or send me your email and I'll send some.
