Tell us something.: Hello, I'm hoping to sell a pair of all-new bellows-blown Scottish Smallpipes. I'm hoping that I came to the right place.

FS: Feadog SHUSH Quiet Whistle

Post by moonlitnarwhal »

Hello!

I'm selling a Feadog 'Shush' whistle that I just received last week from Big Whistle Music in the UK. For those not familiar, this is a 'tweaked' Feadog High D whistle in brass that has been modified to be quieter, while still retaining an excellent tone and responsiveness. It actually plays much better than I anticipated, but I'm deciding not to keep it as I just ordered another high whistle and try to keep my collection to a minimum so as to keep my marriage peaceful... The whistle is in near perfect condition and I've played it for less than an hour. This is one of the few quiteted high whistles I've ever found, and it's considered to be amongst the best of its kind for playability and sound - great for considerate practice!

I paid approximately $35 US for it, plus $18 in international shipping, but I'd be fine with $30 if the buyer pays for shipping (which shouldn't be much for a US buyer). I'm located in Hawaii, and (as if now) we haven't been quite as affected by the coronavirus as so much of the world, so shipping is not an issue at this time and fears of contamination should be low as there are relatively few cases here (yet)... anyway, it's awful to have to consider this, but the whistle is coming from a healthy household and should be simple to sterilize...

Thank you, and peace and safety to you all!
