Hammy Hamilton Keyless D Irish Flute in Blackwood

USED - $750 including shipping to U.S. destinations only (due to CITES). Contact by PM (preferred) or email (buttons below message) .

Retail price for a new flute is €990 (approx. USD $1100) from Jan. 2018 prices. Hammy's order book was closed May 2018.

Large-hole S.C. (Hammy) Hamilton keyless flute, Pratten-style, in African Blackwood. Tenon cork updated by local flutemaker Jon Cornia, along with cleaning out the bore. The flute is unstamped, but acknowledged by Hammy. Half-lined headjoint with silver tuning slide, D-profile rings, and standard Hammy tenon reinforcements. No case.

Originally owned by singer, multi-instrumentalist, and piper Gee Gallagher, who purchased it from Hammy in 1992. I acquired it through her partner, Sandra Neff (aunt of the Neff Bros.).
