My Accordina is still for sale

Post by Casey Burns »

I still have my Accordina and it is still for sale. I originally posted it here - one can see pictures on this old listing:

An update. I loaned it to someone who returned it about 8 months later. When I got around to trying it I found that the two bottom notes were no longer working. I just took it back to my accordion tech and he replaced one reed with a stainless steel reed and did his best to adjust the next one up. I suspect someone tried it and simply blew too hard cracking the 64 year old reed at its base! Nobody really plays down there on these, if one listens to the recordings. The rest of the scale on up is great and the instrument has the superb ergonomics compared with the newer ones. The newer ones are also more expensive than what I am asking. I am still asking $1200 firm plus shipping to anywhere in the US and elsewhere (with some restrictions). Contact be my email at caseyburnsflutes@gmail.com
