Ok so I had bought and subsequently had this restored* with the intent to keep it for myself, but, we have the opportunity to buy our first house now and so it is offered up here to go towards a down payment. I’ll be sad to see it go because it’s really fun!! It’s a 19th century Simpson of London, all the markings can be read on each section. It’s quite nice cocus with a really nice head joint. It’s rather easy to play and volume wise it’s it even too far from my 6 key windward pratten, which is saying something. $1900. Flute is just outside of Philadelphia Pa
*restoration was done by Jon Cornia. We had to replace a few sockets, fix a couple cracks (barrel, footjoint) and the keywork had been brutalized by a wire brush so that’s all been polished out. It’s nice and solid now! You can PM for pics but I’ll try to get them up soon. Meanwhile here’s a couple clips: ... p=drivesdk ... p=drivesdk

$1800? If you have interest make me an offer! Oh I should note, I have a pistol case to send with it, nothing special but does the job.

Apparently houses are expensive (lol) so how about $1700?
