I'm casting a net out to find two Irish flutes in D. Here are the two style of flutes I'm looking for:
1) My band mate has been making due with a Pakistani-made flute and is looking to finally get a "real" Irish flute. He would more or less consider any quality wood flute with inline holes that is in the ~$800 or under range.
2) I'm looking to try another flute, either wood or otherwise. My current flute is a Burns with offset holes. While I do love the sound of the flute, I'm looking for a flute with inline holes. My budget is ~$1200 or under.
Thanks for looking! All the best.
Casey

Re: WTB: Wooden Irish Flutes in D ~$750
Bump! I'm still looking for a flute for my band mate. He's looking for a wooden flute in D. The ideal price range is around $750, but he would consider around $1K for the right specimen.
